Got a call for the third time, each about three weeks apart, from an Asian guy asking about my Aviva insurance. He seemed to have my name and some insurance info already. Tried asking for my postcode. I told him he’s already called before and I reckon it’s a scam. He admitted it and started swearing at me a few times before ending the call. I couldn’t really swear back since I was at work. This was on 5th October 2017, and I think they were trying to gather info like postcode and address to pull off a scam. Watch out for these types.

I got a call from an asian woman wanting me to verify my details. When I asked her to identify herself, she just kept asking for my postcode. I told her I'd not give any info until she said who she was, then she started swearing at me and ended the call. Got a call from this number at 4:57am today 19/05/2017. Like others already said, it’s blocked now! It showed up as from Stevenage, but I really don’t think that’s true. The person said they were ringing from Nationwide. Had a really strong Indian or Pakistani accent. It got suspicious when he said his name was 'Roger'. I told him I wasn’t Roger and that ‘Roger’ isn’t really an Asian name. I told him to stop wasting my time and hung up. Clearly, they were after banking info, probably trying to take advantage of vulnerable people.

A man with an Indian accent called and said, "Hello sir, I’m ringing from the iPhone department." He asked if I was using an iPhone or Android. When I asked who he was, he just said "iPhone department." I said, "iPhone department of what?" and then he just hung up. Sounds like these lot work together, each one calling to gather different bits of info. Once they collect your name, address, phone, phone type, date of birth, mum's maiden name, they probably try to steal your identity or access your bank. Definitely block and report this number 01438 878014.

I told him I don’t even have internet, and he just repeated what I said like he was noting it down or something, then he just ended the call. Got a call from this number, some guy with an Asian accent. The line was really patchy. He knew my name and postcode and asked me to verify them, saying he was from Nationwide Credit Card checking if I was satisfied with the card.
