Had a call from someone saying they were from BT Openreach, talking about problems with our broadband speed and interference recently. I insisted I'd handle the call myself and wouldn’t pass it to my husband, but as soon as I said we’d get in touch with Openreach on our own, they just hung up. Did a quick Google of the number we saw on caller ID and it actually belongs to a plastering company in Stevenage, nothing to do with BT Openreach.
