I got a call from someone claiming to be from SSE asking me to verify my info. I told them they should already have my address and asked why they were ringing me. The lady refused to explain until I confirmed my identity but did slip that it was about my bill. I don’t get bills though, since I pay by direct debit every month. My phone flagged the number as Possible Fraud. Whenever SSE needs to contact you, they usually send an email or a letter, not just call out of the blue like that.
