Just had a ring from someone claiming to be from EE about an upgrade. They kept saying “ma’am” which sounded odd so I told them it was a spam call because no proper English operator would say that. The bloke said he was calling from Vodafone’s main office on Baker Street, London, but my phone showed Hereford instead. I told him straight up it was a scam and politely hung up. Honestly, when will these annoying calls stop? I really feel sorry for those who actually fall for this stuff - it just winds me up so much!
