So I picked up the phone and this automated female voice comes on claiming to be ‘Shirley from the internet service provider’. She said my internet would get cut off in a day or two because apparently my IP was used in multiple countries. Then it told me to ‘press 1 to speak to an engineer’. Honestly, it was obvious straight away that it was some dodgy scam call.
