They kept insisting we hadn’t responded to any letters but could fix everything by phone. The whole thing sounded dodgy - background tunes playing and the person wasn’t very professional at all. They refused to share any details, just said they’d check it out. I looked up the phone number afterwards and saw loads of people warning about scams like this.
