10 yearsThe very first ring i got was from abroad, this bloke ‘justin’ claiming to be from bt asked me to turn on my laptop, i told him it’s dodgy and refused. Then he got all defensive so i just told him to jog on and cut the call. Barely 30 seconds later, another call came through from 01429244587 asking what i’d said earlier, then went on about emails warning me about the scam and that they’d report it.JustinBT10 yearsI received a call earlier from someone with an Asian accent who was inquiring about my wife's name. When I probed further, asking who they were and the purpose of the call, they abruptly disconnected. Quite odd, if you ask me.10 yearsGot a nasty lady on the phone who kept pushing me to use my computer, sounded like a total scam to me.10 yearsFor the past few days, 01429244587 keeps ringing my landline about every half hour to an hour. The first buzz usually shows up between 7:30 and 7:45 in the morning. I've left an answerphone message saying we don't pick up calls from unknown numbers, but whenever it reaches that message, the caller just hangs up straight away. I'm disabled, so I can't always rush to the phone in time, which is why the message is there. Does anyone have any idea who this might be? Thanks! xSubmit Your Own Report (01429 244587)
