I got a call that claimed to be from Mastercard, saying someone tried to take £600 from my card in a foreign country. They told me to press 1 if it wasn’t me, so I did. Honestly, I’m not sure whether I should have just hung up instead... The message sounded like one of those automated ones you get from online banking when you’re setting up things like standing orders.

Got a dodgy call the other day. They left me a message saying there was some shady stuff happening on my internet and I only had 24 to 48 hours to sort it. I didn’t bother answering.
