4 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be Michael from BT, asked how I was. I told him I’m not a fan of cold calls, especially scammy ones, then he just hung up. Could hear kids in the background like he was calling from home, although I wonder if they’re just using a sound effect now to seem legit? This is the fourth time lately I’ve had a call pretending to be local - some appliance warranty one, a couple of fake Amazon purchase scams, and now this.
