On 12th December 2023 at about 11:30, I noticed the number was from our local area so I decided to pick up. As soon as I answered, I got an automated message from MASTERCARD warning about charges on my card - one for around £14 on Amazon and another close to £400 with a company I’d never come across. The message then told me to press 1 for more information, 2 if I didn’t recognise the transaction, or 3 to talk to someone. I just hung up straight away.
