Got a call from 01425538996 yesterday, they claimed the government announced because of Covid they can insure my washing machine even though it's more than ten years old, and also any kitchen appliances no matter how old for just £15 a month. I found it so ridiculous I just laughed and hung up. Now as I’m typing this, they’re ringing my mobile again, really irritating.

Got calls from a firm named HouseGuard, claiming they'll inspect your cavity insulation for dampness at no cost - but I reckon they're aiming to charge loads after for some kind of house coating fix. They ring from various numbers day to day, soon I’ll have them all blocked! Looked them up; HouseGuard’s only been around since late 2017 and seems to just apply products from Red Rose Paint Supplies.
