It’s been going on for almost 2 years now, this lot are always ringing me from all sorts of different numbers. I’ve told them to take me off their list, but they just wont stop. Just another number to add to the block list.

I answered the phone and this loud lady with a really rough accent started rattling off something. I think it had to do with cavity wall insulation, but I wasn’t completely sure. I told her, “hold on a sec.” Then she goes, “hello, can you hear me?” I replied, “I’m just turning the TV volume down.” Next thing you know, she hung up on me.

This dodgy firm somehow got hold of my name and phone number. They phoned me about some cavity wall insulation deal. I got really annoyed and called them back to find out where they got my info from (after looking up their number online). They started going on about being linked to a government energy scheme and asked if I’d had cavity walls done. I told them straight up to remove me from their list right away. Then the bloke had the cheek to call me a "mad old lady," which honestly made me chuckle. I can only guess how many elderly folks these lot are scamming.

Just had another one of those annoying PPI claim calls, and this time the person was really cheeky and pushy. They rang me while I was shopping and already chatting on the phone. I called back thinking it might be someone I know, but as soon as I told the woman I didn’t want to be contacted and wanted to be taken off their list, she turned quite hostile and treated me badly. It was so unpleasant I had to end the call myself.
