Received a call from this number, and as soon as we answered, they just cut off! What a strange experience!

I get these annoying cold calls several times daily. Since my phone shows who’s calling, I usually just ignore them now. Most of the time, there’s silence for a bit when I do pick up, like they’re waiting to see if I’ll talk first. They always say they’re from some weird national survey group and then start firing questions about my internet, TV and stuff. Total waste of time. I suppose they’re trying to pitch something eventually, but I’ve never stuck around long enough to find out.
