Some guy called saying he was from 02, the network provider, but as soon as I asked a few questions, he just cut the call. Sounded like he had a South Asian accent.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from O2 and that I’d won a prize or something. Thing is, I don’t even use O2 now. As soon as I let him know that, he just cut me off. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

My mobile security flagged this number as a possible scam, so I went ahead and blocked it. After checking up on it, I’m pretty sure it’s best to keep it blocked and plan to report it too.

This has got to be a scam, no doubt. They claimed to be from O2 and told me I'd won some prize or reward. I found it strange since I’m not an O2 customer at all. As soon as I questioned them, they just cut the call straight away.
