Some bloke called asking about loft details. I said to send it through the post, but he kept wanting my address. Ended up telling him to jog on.

My answer machine picked up a call and there was some faint talking but couldnt make out what they were saying at all.

So this guy rang my mum, said he had to inspect her loft insulation because it might cause damp and mould and mess up the loft. When she told him she’d ask her family first, he just hung up. Tried calling the number back and it didn’t go through. He said he was from the government but the number was a Hastings one. Really fishy!

i got a call from a guy who said he was doing a government survey about loft installations. i told him i never had one done, and as soon as i said that, he just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone saying it was about a loft installation we supposedly had done. We actually do have a loft conversion, so I said it couldn't be ours and he just hung up straight away. Looking back, I probably shouldn’t have given any details about our home. When I tried ringing back to ask them to stop calling, the number was dead - kept saying it wasn’t recognised.
