classic scam about washing machine warranty extension. they somehow have ur name, which is pretty creepy. total rip off and yet ofcom ain't doing much. can't get why a phone from 01424 can't be tracked properly, clearly someone's footing the bill. if the scammer is abroad, they should be taken to court. i### . number blocked.

Got a call from some scammers trying that washing machine trick again. They completely messed up and guessed the wrong brand I have. They only knew my last name, nothing else about me. Then they rattled off warranty prices that were way off and promised a cheaper deal, but it was actually pricier than my current one. Definitely blocking this number now.

Sounds like a total scam to me - they said they were from HMRC and that I was going to face some legal trouble. Definitely dodgy.

Got one of them calls claiming they're offering an extended guarantee on my washing machine. They asked for my name and address, then tried pushing to get my bank card details. They wouldn’t say exactly who they were, just kept insisting I give them my card info - no way I’m falling for that. When I questioned them, they seemed to get stressed and even told me I was harassing them before just hanging up. Total scam, for sure.

Got constant calls comin in every few minutes, like every 5 or so. Picked up one time and they just dropped the call right away. So annoying!
