Today, I received a call from a rather dodgy bloke claiming to be a BT technician. He said there appeared to be some issues with my internet connection. Given my decent understanding of tech, I quickly assessed everything on my end and found no problems whatsoever. I made it clear that I had no interest in being scammed, so I ended the call sharpish.

Got a call from a bloke pretending to be BT saying my phone and internet would get cut off that day, asking me to press 1 or whatever. I’ve had quite a few of these dodgy calls before and BT told me they’d never do stuff like that over the phone. So I just blocked the number straight away.
