They rang up asserting they were from my Legal & General life insurance, but their explanations were rather dodgy, especially after tossing around personal lifestyle inquiries. They insisted I was shelling out too much, yet misquoted my monthly payment. When I probed further, they suddenly identified themselves as ‘iQuote’. I made it clear I had no intention of handling financial matters via phone calls and would prefer to conduct my own investigation. They turned quite insistent after that. I firmly reiterated my lack of interest.

Got a couple of calls from this number in less than a day. The bloke on the line was quite nice and said he was ringing from "ac" - which, to me, just sounds like a type of knee injury, not a proper company I can track down anywhere. He asked if I’d put in any claims for PPI. I wasn’t rude or anything, just said ‘no thanks’ and hung up before he’d even finished talking.
