Today I got a recorded message on my landline about suspicious activity on my card. They said there were two transactions - one £300 payment to Amazon and another overseas charge of £1100. They told me to press 1 if it was me or 2 to talk to someone about canceling. Got a call like this yesterday too but from a different number. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

They ring up saying they're from HMRC and claim there's some warrant for your arrest. Total scam, beware!
