Got a call from this number on my home phone today. Some robotic voice told me that a dodgy transaction had gone through - something like £300 to Amazon and over £1000 (didn’t quite get the exact figure) to somewhere overseas. It claimed these payments were new and asked me to press 1 to stop them or 2 to talk to an agent. Obviously, I just ended the call straight away. Total scam - watch out for this and make sure you report it!

My home phone rang earlier today from a number I didn’t recognise. I didn’t pick up but got a voicemail from a robot voice claiming there were unauthorised charges on my account, one linked to Amazon and another involving an overseas bank transfer. It told me to press one to cancel the transactions or two to talk to their support team. Definitely a SCAM. If you get calls like this, make sure you report them to Action Fraud.
