I've been inundated with calls from a company related to gas and electricity services for our previous address. We were registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but it seems that a hiccup with BT disconnecting our line has resulted in our registration being lost. I've rectified that now and specifically requested they refrain from calling, yet I’m still bombarded with 2 to 3 calls a day. Some of them leave odd silent messages, which is quite off-putting. The company goes by a name sounding like UK Energy and claims to operate from Manchester. Oddly enough, they don't seem to have that distinctive Manchester accent and the number that shows up is actually associated with Harrogate/Boroughbridge. I've tried to look them up but can't seem to figure out who they are. Any insights you might have would be greatly appreciated!
