They kept calling at 8.50pm, I think that's a bit late to be bothering folks! They wanted to chat about lodging in Devon and mentioned a £10 voucher for taking part. I told them I was tied up, and they just said thanks and hung up. Seemed quite polite, but these days you can't be too sure.

They said they were from a marketing firm I'd looked into before, but couldn't actually tell me their name. They mentioned I'd receive a fiver for a quick five-minute survey, yet they couldn't clarify when or how I’d get the cash. So, I decided to end the call and blocked their number.

So I got a call from something called Yorkshire Combined Authority or maybe it was Metro? They wanted to hear my thoughts about things in West Yorkshire and said they'd pay me £5 for completing it. I never gave them my answers though, so no idea if I'd have actually got the cash or not!
