They kept calling at 8.50pm, I think that's a bit late to be bothering folks! They wanted to chat about lodging in Devon and mentioned a £10 voucher for taking part. I told them I was tied up, and they just said thanks and hung up. Seemed quite polite, but these days you can't be too sure.

I said hello a couple of times before anyone replied, then this woman asked for my name and said she was conducting a survey. I told her I wasn’t really keen, but she kept trying to set up a time to talk more. In the end, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a marketing firm I supposedly worked with before, but when I asked for their name, they dodged the question. They promised £5 for just 5 minutes of answering some questions, but when I tried to find out when and how the payment would happen, they went quiet. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

So I got a call from something called Yorkshire Combined Authority or maybe it was Metro? They wanted to hear my thoughts about things in West Yorkshire and said they'd pay me £5 for completing it. I never gave them my answers though, so no idea if I'd have actually got the cash or not!
