Seems like it was just some other market research firm calling.

I got a call claiming it was for a survey on southern water stuff. I told them I don’t participate in surveys and asked them to stop ringing me.

Got a call from an unknown number, didn't pick up because I didn't know who it was. It just ended up going to voicemail, but there was no message left at all.

I set my phone up so it asks who’s calling before actually ringing, but this person refused to say and just ended the call. Afterwards, I saw it in my missed calls as some unknown number that never connected.

answered the phone just to have silence on the other end. as soon as i realised it was just another silent call, i ended it and blocked the number.

A young chap rang me up, seemed to know my name, claimed he was representing NS&I and wanted to quiz me. I mentioned that I was mulling over what the Prime Minister had said earlier about telecommuting and the impact of social distancing. I cheekily advised him to consult his superior on how those issues might touch upon his life, whilst also pointing out that it’s rather unwise to chat about financial matters with a stranger on the line. Surprisingly, it turned out he wasn’t even aware of the PM's recent briefing regarding the coronavirus.

i got a call from someone claiming to be with ns&i, said they wanted me to answer some questions for a survey. i wasn’t really sure it was legit, so i said no thanks. plus, these surveys just seem a bit too much hassle and a bit intrusive if you ask me.
