They were clearly only interested in chatting with folks from that specific area. Seemed quite legit to me.

I too had a phone call from this number and thought it wise to verify with Halifax. They confirmed it’s not from them and mentioned it’s probably a phishing attempt. The person on the line spoke with an Asian or Midlands accent, introducing herself as Naseem.
