If you get a call from a number beginning with 01343, just so you know, that’s an Elgin area code in Scotland. Be careful with any calls you weren’t expecting from that code.

I did a bit of digging and it seems like the bloke with the Indian accent is either calling from Halifax, West Yorkshire, or he's using some sort of software to mask his real location. Either way, something dodgy is going on.

For the last two days they've been calling me nonstop. Whenever I pick up, the call just drops straight away. Just a minute ago I answered and stayed quiet for a bit. When the line stayed open I finally said "hello," and then it cut off instantly! So frustrating!

Really simple to handle. I’ve got 3 phones loaded with an auto dialler app and loads of free minutes. It throws them off and messes them up good. Calling them back is the best way to turn the tables and give them a taste of their own medicine.

I had a rather perplexing encounter with a lady who seemed to be of Asian or Indian origin. To be quite honest, I couldn't make out a single word she uttered, so I politely informed her of my confusion. Almost immediately, she ended the call. The background noise was quite telling - it was clearly some sort of dodgy operation. I’d recommend steering clear of this one!

Luckily, I was just settling my grandson down for bed and couldn’t pick up when they rang. But when I tried calling the number back, it went straight to a message saying the number was unrecognised. Pretty obvious what was going on there.

So I got a call from some Ali at Accident Advice Centre, saying something about a car accident I supposedly had. I was like, 'Wait, I don’t even drive, how’s that possible?' There was this awkward pause and then they just ended the call. Honestly, don’t waste your time picking up.

I got a call from a person with an Asian accent asking about this ‘recent accident’ I supposedly had. It was pretty clear to me it was some kind of scam, but I played along for a while, asking them questions. Honestly, the background noise on their end was so loud I could hardly catch what they were saying. After a bit, the caller just gave up and ended the call.

Around 7:15 in the evening, I got another call from one of those ambulance chasers asking about ‘my accident’. I played along, asking him to clarify which accident he meant because he couldn’t seem to figure it out and kept going over the same lines. In the end, I just told him to get lost. He went and repeated what I said too.
