What a dodgy affair! Yet another charlatan attempting to breach your computer's security. I spent a rather amusing thirty minutes feigning an elderly gentleman with absolutely zero tech know-how. I think I let the cat out of the bag when I couldn't help but chuckle at their growing exasperation!

Received a rather dodgy call today, claiming they were inquiring about my broadband service. I mentioned that I record all my conversations, and before I knew it, they hung up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Hah, so they claimed to be from Openreach saying my computer was being hacked. I just said I worked for Openreach myself and the call got cut off straight away. Blocked the number right after.

Claimed to be from BT Openreach, they did. Attempted to persuade me to leave my computer running so they could “investigate” some dodgy sites purportedly trying to break into my machine. I promptly powered it down, but their incessant calls have not ceased; they just keep ringing. I’m hoping they tire of this futile effort soon. What a bunch of charlatans!

Someone claimed to be from BT Openreach and rang me up. I told them we'd got four calls not long ago saying they were from BT Openreach, but every time we checked, they turned out to be scams. Right after I said that, they just hung up straight away.

Today I’ve gotten four calls, all claiming to be from BT Openreach. When I picked up, they said my computer was under attack by hackers. They wanted me to log in to sort it out, but I just told them to get lost.

This number has rung me up twice now. When I answered, there was no reply, just some weird background noises. I’m pretty sure it’s one of those automated calls and maybe the scammer was just away for a cuppa.

Got a call from a rude woman with some weird accent, and when I told her I wasn’t interested, she just started hurling abuse. Honestly, there really needs to be something done to put an end to these scammers.

Got a call on our office number earlier from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, saying someone was trying to access my computer. Funny, considering we run a business with loads of desktops and laptops here. I grilled them about their company details, but as soon as I did, they just hung up. The number they called from can’t be traced and they said they were calling from Chelsea, London. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I received a call from this number but unfortunately, I missed it. A quick Google search led me to discover it’s linked to a dubious set-up (another scam from BT phishing, it seems), so I promptly added the number to my block list. I’ve also had a couple of answered calls from a voice claiming to be ‘Lenny’. However, as soon as I responded, an automated system chirped back with a 'goodbye'. According to Oftel, numbers that start with 01421 542 are not supposed to be allocated, so it’s quite evident that someone is trying to spoof this number, and I wouldn’t trust it one bit. In fact, I've received multiple calls from this number just in the last few days.

I received a missed call from the number 01421542672. After doing a quick search on Google, it became evident that this is yet another suspected BT phishing scam, so I've gone ahead and added the number to my blacklist. I've actually answered a couple of times, only to be greeted by the automated voice of 'Lenny'. However, as soon as I engaged, the system abruptly hung up on me. According to Oftel’s records, numbers beginning with 01421 542 are safeguarded from being allocated, which only adds to the suspicion that this number is being spoofed and isn’t reliable. This isn’t the first time this number has troubled me; I've had several calls from them just in the last few days alone.

I've tried ringing back several times, but each time I get a message saying the number isn't recognised. I also received a voicemail, but I couldn't quite make sense of what they were saying. Quite frustrating, isn't it?

Got a missed call from this number and decided to look it up on Google, only to find out it’s probably a dodgy BT phishing scam. I blocked it straight away. It rang twice more, and when I picked up, some automated voice said “hello, it’s Lenny,” but as soon as I replied, the line beeped and then a robotic voice said “goodbye.” I found out that numbers beginning with 01421 542 aren’t supposed to be used, so this one is definitely fake and shouldn’t be trusted.

This number has been ringing me quite a lot the last few days, even as early as 8 in the morning today and yesterday! I didn't pick up since I didn't know who it was. They've never left any voicemail or anything.

I've received five calls from this number within the last day, with one occurring bright and early at around 8:00 am! I’m not familiar with it, so I've chosen not to pick up. Strangely, they didn’t leave any voicemails either. Quite bizarre!
