some bloke called me up trying to get me to buy some personal safety pendant thingy.

Got loads of calls from 01420 375211, 375233, 375239, 375253, and 375257 lately. They ring, stay quiet, then hang up after about 5 to 20 seconds. Two of those numbers rang me three times each today, which is proper annoying! Tried calling back and all I get is “number not in service”. Just a heads up! My own landline starts with 01420 too, but real local numbers never begin with a ‘3’ - usually they’re 5 digits or start with a ‘5’. Honestly, do these scammy people think we’re daft or what?
