I was pretty sure it was dodgy straight away since companies like that don’t usually ring you out of the blue because of GDPR, plus I haven’t dealt with Carphone Warehouse in ages. When I told him I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, he went silent for a moment then just cut the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
