Some guy with an Indian accent called saying he was from the British Medical Board, asking if I’d had my flu and covid vaccinations. I just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke said he was calling from First Response... sounded like he was from the UK. He already had my name and number, told me my car had been in a crash and asked if I was the one who reported it. I just hung up cos I’d never heard of First Response, which I just found out is actually a car finance firm. Total scam!

01418466858 rang me earlier at 11:59, but I’ve got my phone set up so if it doesn’t know the number it goes straight to voicemail. This woman, who sounded very posh, started shouting "hello" into my voicemail, which was really weird - who shouts at an answering machine? Don’t know this number at all, and to me it sounds like a scammer who got frustrated because they didn’t get a real person on the line.

Got a call from a fancy sounding woman about my recent crash with some company van. When I asked if this was one of those dodgy scam calls, she got all huffy and said obviously not, she hasn’t asked for any bank info. Then I asked her for my car’s registration details and whatnot, but she said she couldn’t share that because of data protection. Ha! Does she really think just because she talks posh and not like the usual lot who struggle to talk properly that I’d just hand over my details? No chance!

Got a call from this number today at 12:34pm, it’s the second time since Wednesday and both times it’s been from Glasgow. They never leave a voicemail. I keep my number private coz I was scammed back in 2015 and it ended up involving Scotland Yard and even the US Pentagon. Just a heads up to everyone, be cautious and don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers.
