It rang a couple of times, but the call dropped the first time I picked up. Looks like they might be juggling a few calls at once and whoever answers first catches them.

I received a barrage of calls from this number - six in the span of just one hour!
The first four were a right mystery; they stayed silent and then suddenly disconnected after a few moments.
The last two, a chap and a lady, kept repeating "hello" before abruptly ending the call.
I tried to inquire who it was, but alas, no one answered.

As soon as I picked up, the caller dropped the line without uttering a single word. Just like that, they were gone! I've decided to block the number now.

Spoke with a strong Glasgow accent, sounded like someone from Scottish Power for sure. They called about our upcoming Smartmeter installation and didn’t try to get any bank details or anything personal. Just explained what to expect with the fitting and asked a few questions, like confirming the last digits of my phone number and email.
