A chap from this number rang me earlier today, claiming to represent Microsoft and insisting that there had been some dodgy attempts to access my computer. He inquired whether I was currently using it, to which I replied in the negative, as it was switched off. Then he pressed on, asking if I could possibly turn it on, but I declined again, and just like that, he abruptly cut the conversation short. Quite the odd experience, I must say!
