Watch out for another number, 02036080078, rang me today claiming to be Microsoft but it wasnt. The caller said her name was Page Adams, looks like a scam. Stay alert everyone and I’ll update if they try again.

Since we’re both retired, we keep getting loads of annoying calls that really stress my wife out. Why can't the authorities catch and deal with these idiots? I’m not interested in any fancy tech on my phone or having to shell out for a cleverer phone. I’ve always had this feeling that when PCs first came out, lots of dangers were created just to make you think you had to buy the top antivirus software. That’s just what I figured back then.

What a right bother! Got a call today at half past 7 in the morning. Told the bloke I wasn’t too happy getting woken up so early, it’s always a bit of a shock to the system when your phone goes off at that time.

Got a call from 01418460225, the person claimed they were from Microsoft. I told them I don't have a computer and asked them not to ring again. I ended the call, but within a couple of hours they called back. I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from an Asian lady pretending to be from Microsoft about my computer. Told her I didn’t own one, she asked about an iPad or laptop. Said nope to both. Told her to stop calling as we’re on the TPS list. She rang back an hour later. I lost it and swore at her, and she said “don’t be rude”. I told her if she and others like her had proper jobs instead of scamming vulnerable people, I wouldn’t be so angry. Then I told her where to go and hung up. Fed up with these idiots.

A bloke with an asian sounding accent said he was calling from Microsoft. I said I'm 85 and never go online. He butchered my surname completely, so I told him no one by that name lives here. I had the phone on speaker coz I was in a U3A group, so everyone heard it. We all had a right chuckle about it! He hung up after that.

These calls come through every couple of weeks without fail. I've asked them to remove me from their records, but nothing changes. I even mentioned GDPR rules, saying they shouldn’t be holding my number or info since I never agreed to it. Still no luck. I also told them I’m on the TPS registry, so they’re not supposed to call me. But they just keep ringing.

They call me at all sorts of hours, and the only time I picked up, it was a recorded message saying thanks for ringing to take your number off some list with a Hotmail email, but it never gives the full email address.

The number showed up as Asti on my phone, which I think is somewhere in Italy, so I chose not to pick up. After seeing what others said here, I went ahead and blocked it. Seems like just another typical cold call scam to me.

Picked up feelin a bit cheeky and asked for the person but they didnt even say the name right, surname sounded like a maid’s name or somethin. Told em this aint their number, then they started askin me loads of questions. I said if ur after the first person u better call them quick, then i just hung up and blocked the number. Honestly, love havin a tricky Irish name sometimes lol.

Picked up the phone and the guy asked to speak to me by name. A bit taken aback, I said yes but mentioned I’m in Cyprus. There was a pause, then he said he might call me back. I said probably not.
