I reckon this is one of those scam call centres based abroad, real organised setup. I get calls from this number every day now. They even switch up the last few digits on the caller ID, probably so I can't block them properly. It's strange though, I never got calls like this until about a month after a major UK airline had a big data leak!

Whenever I spot these types of numbers, I pick up the phone and say, “Fraud Investigations Department, be advised this call is being recorded for verification purposes.” It’s quite amusing how seldom I make it past “... this call...” before they cut off!
