Got a call minutes ago from some UK call centre, sounded like they were from down south, talking about a car crash I supposedly had in the past couple of years. Weirdly, I’ve been getting these sorts of calls for over a decade now. When I told them it must be some kind of joke, the guy said nah it’s serious. I kept saying “fraud” over and over, like five times, then he just hung up. Problem is, I don’t even drive and never been in any accident.

My phone rang, and the person on the other end was asking for my husband. I told them they had the wrong number. There were definitely some background sounds like a busy call centre. The caller said sorry for bothering me and then ended the call.

I'm pretty sure it was just another scam call, like always. After reading all the earlier comments, it's clear these calls are really risky and honestly should be shut down somehow. You never know how someone might respond to getting one of these calls - it feels like a total invasion of privacy. Honestly, if I had five minutes alone with those callers, things wouldn’t end nice - but yeah, the courts probably wouldn’t be pleased with that!

These 0141 numbers keep ringing nonstop and whenever I block one, they just switch the last digits to dodge the block 😒. I’ve picked up a few times out of curiosity but it’s always the same: either they drop the call as soon as I answer or it’s the classic car crash scam. Like, how can you be involved in an accident you never remember, especially when you don’t even have a licence?! Honestly, it’s so boring and cliché now, I can’t imagine anyone still falling for that rubbish nowadays.

No message left on my voicemail.. I looked this number up on Google and saw its been checked out over 2200 times.. I’ve gone ahead and blocked all numbers beginning with +44141 now.. so I won’t be getting any calls from Glasgow ever again..

Someone called me up talking about some accident I supposedly had, but I wasn’t involved in anything like that. It was really confusing and a bit annoying to get caught up in that mix-up. Wonder why they'd even think I was part of it.
