Today I received a rather peculiar call from an unfamiliar lady concerning a recent car mishap of mine. She was keen to assist with my insurance claim and even hinted at a substantial payout! I'm convinced this is nothing but a scam.

I got a call from this number claiming to be the 02 legal team saying I was owed money for a car accident. I told them straight up that it’s a scam and I’m going to report them to Police Scotland. They got really annoyed and just ended the call. Total waste of time.

I keep getting calls from this number and it's proper annoying. When I answer, they ask if I'm Miss Valentine. After I say no, they start getting really nasty, threatening me about being arrested for killing someone or running away from an accident. Honestly, they say all sorts of rubbish just to try and scam me.

Just like everyone else, I've been getting these irritating calls about fake car crashes from years ago or just recently. Had a few this week alone. Blocked the number now, but I’m sure they'll ring back from somewhere else. It’s really frustrating. What’s worse is that my elderly mum got the same kind of creepy calls a few weeks back and we’re both from the same neighbourhood.
