I've received numerous calls from various iterations of this number, 0141 769 _ 0561 _ _ _ _ and the like. It's undoubtedly a bunch of scammers trying their luck. Utterly frustrating!

Got a call saying I'd been in an accident, which I definitely wasn’t. When I asked them to give me the exact date, they just said sometime in the last two years. I told them they were wrong and they instantly got quite rude. They then tried to claim someone must have used my address for an accident. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Really horrible experience.

I’m from Aberdeenshire and keep gettin calls from numbers ending in 0152, 0153, 0156 and 0157. Its been happening loads in the last few weeks. Luckily my phone spotted them as spam and blocked every one of them.

It’s truly awful how these scammers keep ringing up pretending someone you care about has had a car crash 🥵 There really ought to be some way to put a stop to it. I’m fed up of getting these calls every single day. I block the numbers, but they just ring again using a slightly different one. Now, I just don’t pick up unless it’s someone I actually know.

Total scam, rang me about some car crash. I went along with it saying “yeah it was horrific” then joked that I’d died. Told them they should send flowers to my relatives. They ended the call real fast after that.

got a call from someone saying they were from the legal team at a company named auto assist about a crash i was supposedly involved in recently, i asked if everythings alright and if anyone was seriously hurt, he replied he wasnt sure cause he wasnt at the scene, i told him thats odd cos neither was i then he just hung up haha
