Got a call from some bloke with a strong Asian accent, reckon he said he was with British Gas or something like that. When I picked up, there was a lot of background noise, sounded like a bunch of muppets all yapping in some dodgy call centre. Proper annoying how they waste your time like that.

Got a call claiming to be from EON to my workplace. I acted like a delicate old lady, and after that, they didn’t bother me anymore. Honestly, it was kind of amusing. They even said sorry for disturbing me and wished me a nice day.

someone rang me saying they were british gas about my contract renewal. they said they’d send me some official documents but needed me to authorise it first. i asked to speak to a manager, so the phone got passed over the desk. then when i asked why i needed a renewal letter to begin with, they just gave me the phone back straight away. bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be ‘Opus Energy’, which was a bit worrying since they already had some info from Octopus Energy, my real provider. The line was awful and the accents really hard to understand.
