Some bloke rang saying he was from E-on, but I told him they weren't supplying me. He insisted they were. I hung up, then he rang back straight away. I told him the same thing again, but he kept pushing, trying to get me to agree to renew my contract. He said he wasn't trying to sell me anything, just needed to go through terms and conditions. But I don’t get why he needs my permission just to read them out.

Got a call claiming to be from Opus Energy and they wanted some personal info. I told them I’d give them a ring back and asked for their contact details. They gave me the number 02034554425. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I was trying to chat about my energy provider, but as soon as I mentioned it, they refused to actually talk about it. They wouldn’t accept a no and kept ringing me over and over. After loads of calls, I told them to bugger off.

I got called around six times within a month, and each time the bloke used a different name. He always said he was ringing from EON, but when I asked which company exactly, he never gave a straight answer. Pretty dodgy if you ask me!
