Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who somehow knew my name and where I lived. He told me my washing machine warranty was about to expire and asked if the machine was still working fine. Then he pushed for me to upgrade my warranty to a better package. I told him I usually get a letter from the company about renewals and I wouldn’t be renewing anything over the phone, no way. After that, I just ended the call. Later, I checked my warranty’s expiry date and it’s not up until 22/05/20 anyway!

I picked up the phone, and as soon as I said hello, the caller just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who already had my name and where I live. He told me my washing machine’s warranty was nearly up. I told him I didn’t actually have any warranty, then he asked if I wanted to get one. I said no thanks and ended the call.
