Received a call purporting to be from the warranty department regarding my washing machine. The name they used raised my eyebrows, leading me to suspect that it might be a scam. It's quite disconcerting how these individuals seem to have access to personal phone numbers and addresses.

I received a call from someone who mentioned my name and claimed that the warranty on my Sky equipment was about to run out. They said they could sort the issue if I shared my bank details. The peculiar part is that I’ve never had Sky and have absolutely no interest in it!
