They called asking for my wife by her first name but didn’t say which company they were from. Claimed they had details about a driving matter. I just ended the call and put the number on block.

So this guy with a British accent called me up saying my washing machine insurance needed renewing through his “company” - never heard of them before. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he got a bit irate and wanted to know why. After I told him again I didn’t want anything to do with it, he just said bye and ended the call. I got a call from someone saying it was about a car crash I supposedly had, but I'd not been in any accident at all. I decided to humour them and said how relieved I was they'd reached out since I was embarrassed after wetting myself. Then I asked if they were actually ringing about adult nappies. They didn't take kindly to that and pretty much told me to get lost and grow up, which was quite funny really!

Got a call from someone claiming they needed to arrange a visit from an engineer to repair "the box". Strange thing is, they were asking for a person who left here more than a decade ago.
