Someone rang earlier asking for me by name and if I was free to talk. When I asked what it was regarding, she just kept asking if I was me or Mrs B. Told her there’s no Mrs B here and asked what she wanted. Then she just cut off. Seems like I wasn’t as easy a target as she thought! They keep calling about car warranties and crash stuff, super annoying!

Got a call about a washing machine cover and they insisted they were from a well known company, but it smelt like a scam to me.

SCAMMERS ALERT. Heard loads of noise in the background like more scammers working together tricking people. She told me my washing machine warranty was ending and tried to force me into buying a new one. The thing is, my washing machine is ancient and never had any warranty. I asked her what brand she said "Bosch." I laughed and said, "Nice try!" then she just hung up on me. Mine is actually a Zanussi. Ha! Definitely blocking this number.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The person said I’d supposedly been in a minor car accident within the last two years. I asked them for any details about the crash, but they didn’t have any, which was pretty fishy! I told them I thought they were just trying to scam info out of me, then the caller made some weird joke about fishing and the sea, like they thought they were clever, and then just hung up.

Got a call from this number around 3 this afternoon. The person was really pushy and kept telling me my washing machine’s insurance was about to expire, which is nonsense ‘cos the machine is more like 15 years old.
