Received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be from a car insurance company, discussing an accident I never had. Just to clarify, I've never driven a car in my life! I firmly asked him to refrain from calling me again, and subsequently blocked the number. The chap had some nerve, cheekily insisting that the call was legitimate, which I firmly disputed, labelling him a nuisance. Although I promptly added the number to my blocked list on my phone, it seems this same number - 01417399447 - continues to ring me each day. Quite the irritation, I must say!

If this number pops up on your caller ID, just ignore it and block straight away. They said they were from Direct Contact Solutions and told me I’d been in a car crash within the last year, that’s how they got my number. When I asked where their office was, the caller just replied ‘why would you need that?’ Totally fishy if you ask me.
