What a load of nonsense! I received a call from some chancer claiming to be from a Glasgow-based accident claims service. They were insisting they could assist me in obtaining insurance compensation for a car crash that I’ve never even experienced! Can you believe it?

Picked up the phone and this person kept asking if I was Mrs McMichaels. I kept telling them I wasn’t but they just wouldn't believe me and said I'd supposedly been in a car crash. It got a bit annoying and when I kept denying it, the caller started getting quite rude, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from Claims Direct UK, 0141 739 3436, saying they're from Glasgow about some compo for an accident I supposedly had in the past 3 years. When I rang back, they actually answered which feels dodgy - makes it seem legit to anyone who might be double-checking.

Like the one before, got a phone call about some fake accident claim. They couldn’t say when the accident supposedly happened, where it was, or which car was involved. I kept asking for more info cos I figured it was dodgy, and then they just ended the call on me.

Got a call from this number, some company dealing with car accidents, think it was called Claims Direct or something. Told them nicely I haven’t been in any accident and asked to have my number taken off their list. The person on the phone said they’d “think about it”. Told them that legally they have to do it, then just blocked the number.
