Someone rang saying it was about a car crash I'd supposedly been in. I told them I haven't owned a car in months, let alone been in any accident. She kept pushing, so I just ended the call. Got a call at 6.09pm from someone claiming to be John Lewis (!) from Claims Direct on Church Street, Glasgow, regarding an accident that wasn’t my fault. Told him the number is registered with TPS and could face a £2k fine, then he started getting rude and I had to hang up. Really pushy bloke - feels like phishing and just plain annoying. The person on the other end claimed they were following up on a small mishap I had not long ago.
