I usually just block the number straight away and then report them to the Telephone Preference Service. They’re just scammers having a go. Got a call from a woman with an accent that sounded a bit Asian or maybe English, she said she was from Claims Direct about a recent car accident. I told her I hadn’t been in any accident and wasn’t really up for talking, but she just kept interrupting me. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

Some woman who sounded Asian called me up saying I was involved in a car accident. When I asked how she even got my number, she just went quiet. After a bit, I just ended the call. Proper annoying how they pester people like that.

I picked up and the guy on the other end said my policy had expired. I asked him what policy he meant but he didn’t say anything back. So I asked again and then it just went silent. Really weird call.

I answered the phone and a man started asking me for my full name and address. When I asked who he was, he just went silent. I said I wasn’t giving out any personal details, then he just ended the call. Bit strange, has anyone got any idea who that might have been?
