I didn’t pickup the first time, so I tried calling back to see who it was. The phone rang a few times but then a voice came on saying I’d got the wrong number. I wasn’t convinced, so I gave it another go using the call return feature, then I dialled the number by hand, only to be told again in both attempts that I’d dialled the wrong number and should try again. Bit strange if you ask me.

They mentioned some company name but I couldn’t make it out properly and claimed they knew I’d been in an accident not long ago. I asked how they got my phone number but then the line went dead. This call came to my personal mobile. It’s the third one I’ve had in two days. Is it some kind of robo call? The voice and question never change, even though the caller ID is different every time. I’ve blocked the numbers and even reported them to the TPS.

Got a ring from these folks claiming I was owed compensation for a car crash they thought I was involved in. I just went along with it, pretending I’d had a few accidents. Then the caller asked for his supervisor to chat with me, but the conversation quickly went downhill with loads of rude language and really bad, broken English. Proper odd and off-putting.
