Got a ring from some guy saying he was Jonathan Smith or somethin' like that, but he had quite a strong Indian accent which seemed a bit off for that name. He said he was from Claims Direct. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

We got a call from 0141 732 0003 at work today, 12/11/2020, but missed it and rang back. Thought it might be a client, maybe the Glasgow accounts office. Turns out it was Claims Direct, pushing some 'free compensation for your accident' nonsense. Complete scam, thought these cheeky lot were banned by now. Anyone tried reporting them to ICO or TPS before? Waste of time, the authorities never seem to do anything. Blocked this number straight away, no way I'm dealing with them again.

I got a call on my mobile from this number, a guy with an accent I couldn’t place claimed he was ringing from Claims Direct UK, saying it was about compensation for a car crash. He kept mentioning my insurance provider, so I asked him who he thought I was insured with. He wasn’t able to say, so I kept questioning him, and he ended up getting quite defensive and a bit rude. Then he just cut the call. I’ve blocked the number and reported it to the TPS.

Got a call from an unfamiliar Glasgow number, so I picked up since I’ve got family nearby and thought it might be something local. The noise in the background reminded me of a hectic call centre. The guy on the other end introduced himself as “Curly” - odd name - and called me by my old surname, which only Vodafone has ever used before. He said he was calling from “Accident Investigations” and asked if I’d been in a car crash recently. I didn’t bother staying on, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
