Got a call from a Glasgow number, but the person on the other end was clearly a foreign speaker struggling with English. They somehow knew my name, but I told them they’d got the wrong number and just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy saying he was calling from HSBC fraud team. He said there’d been some suspicious activity on my account, a purchase I supposedly didn’t make. Then he started asking me for my security details and talked about sending me a new card. When he asked for my passwords, I told him HSBC would never ask for that. Suddenly his tone changed and he got quite rude. I ended the call straight away. This scam is really risky - don’t give them any info!
