Someone's been trying to peddle a mobile to me, mentioning GDPR in the process, and their number's been hidden to boot. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number earlier, but I decided not to pick up. An hour later, they tried again, but when I answered, there was nothing but silence on the other end. I've now blocked it to avoid further hassle.

Received a call purporting to be from Currys PC World, touting a whopping 40% off an iPhone. Didn’t trust it and promptly blocked the number.

I received a call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me an iPhone 14 with an unlimited plan for calls, texts, and data at just £35 a month. They mentioned a £52 upfront cost that would supposedly be refunded upon delivery of the device. It absolutely reeked of a scam!

I received a call from someone who introduced themselves as Ann, but they had what seemed to be a South Asian accent. They said they were representing O2 and were offering me a discount on my account. The odd thing is, I don't even have an account with O2! To make matters weirder, the same person rang me up again from the numbers 0161 5200059 and 02922714471. Quite suspicious, I'd say!

Glasgow number 1416730455 I let this one ring out since I haven’t a clue who it might be. It’s the second time this week I’ve received calls from that location.

I've received two phone calls in the last couple of days. It appears to be from an Asian call centre, as I could hear a lot of commotion in the background.

I received a call from a woman whose accent was distinctly Indian, and I struggled to comprehend her initial words. I even had to ask her to repeat herself because I thought she mentioned something about "Curry's mobile." Now, it's worth noting that I had just visited their shop the previous day to get my laptop sorted out, but perhaps I simply misheard her? I made it clear that I was already signed up with a mobile service provider, and there was no intention on my part to switch. She carried on trying to explain, but I eventually chose to end the call. It felt like she wasn’t really listening to my response. Maybe the communication just wasn’t quite up to scratch on her end. I appreciate that she’s got a job to do and don't mean to be harsh, but I suppose it just wasn’t the right fit for me.
