This number just called me a few minutes ago.. it rang 4 or 5 times but I didn’t pick up, then they just hung up. I’ve had quite a few calls claiming to be from Three network, pushing deals on costly mobile phones and trying to gather info about my Three account. They’re really pushy and judging by the accent, I reckon the callers are from India.

My phone picked up a voicemail from these dodgy fellas. As it started recording, I could hear two guys with strong East Indian accents chatting about how to handle a cold call if I picked up. Then suddenly, one of them straightened up and switched to a proper professional tone, thinking I’d answered. When he worked out it was just the voicemail, he hung up.

Said they was from 'uk mobile' but the line was really bad. First thing they asked was what phone i was using. Ended the call straight away cos theres no way they should be ringing me, not had any contact before. Definitely breaking TPS rules, sounded like a dodgy call centre, probably out of India from the accent.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming he was from O2 and could give me a way better contract than what I supposedly have. Thing is, I’m not even an O2 customer, so it was clearly a scam. He said he was from Glasgow but was actually ringing from a company in Ireland. I'm sick of these dodgy callers and the company Twilio Ireland letting them get away with it. I've reported Twilio Ireland to the ICO loads of times because they're just providing a platform for these scammers to work from.

I received a call from a woman whose accent was distinctly Indian, and I struggled to comprehend her initial words. I even had to ask her to repeat herself because I thought she mentioned something about "Curry's mobile." Now, it's worth noting that I had just visited their shop the previous day to get my laptop sorted out, but perhaps I simply misheard her? I made it clear that I was already signed up with a mobile service provider, and there was no intention on my part to switch. She carried on trying to explain, but I eventually chose to end the call. It felt like she wasn’t really listening to my response. Maybe the communication just wasn’t quite up to scratch on her end. I appreciate that she’s got a job to do and don't mean to be harsh, but I suppose it just wasn’t the right fit for me.
